World Amateur Team Championship Damen

Similar to the temperatures, Austria's women delivered a hot result on the second day of the Women's World Amateur Team Championship in Mexico, which resulted in a shared 7th place and drew attention to a participation in the Moving Day.

BIG MAX is a partner of the ÖGV and was able to equip the Austrian women's team at the WATC in Mexico with a custom-made BIG MAX Aqua 8 stand bag.

On the Moving Day, the youngest player, Emma Spitz, had the best performance with two pars, although the high flight was dampened by a triple bogey.

The following two birdies were also overshadowed by a double bogey. The Austrian started the back nine with five over par, improved in the second half of the course with 76 (+4).

Ines Fendt and Leonie Bettel each signed a somewhat disappointing 81 (+9) on Moving Day. Ines Fendt had to be content with bogeying on eleven holes, which she was only able to counter with two red entries.

Leonie Bettel from Vienna suffered four bogeys on the first nine holes and lost two shots on hole 13. The next hole was easier for Bettel and she recovered a shot but had to leave the moving day with a double bogey quattrobogey finish.

Overall, the Austrian women's team was 16 over par and shared 23rd place in the World Amateur Team Championships.
